My name is Jessica and I am the creator of The Catering Cafe. My experience in cooking is nothing impressive and that fact has held me back for many years. I do not have a culinary degree or professional training... my Bachelor's Degree is actually in Communications. It's my absolute love for food, and all that it involves, that has finally brought me to this point.

I started cooking about 12 years ago in my tiny little kitchen, I wanted to impress my husband with my God given wifely talent... let's just say he was a good sport and I made some delicious hamburger helper! The best part though, was how amazing I could make it look on the plate... and that was it, I fell completely in love with food presentation. I wanted to make every meal and every table setting look it's best. There is just something about beautiful food that makes it taste even better!

I've worked in the food industry for many years and in many different positions, gaining knowledge and experience from all of them. My sister, Marlana, has been on that journey with me. She has opened restaurants and ran her own wedding planning company, she can make any room look absolutely stunning!! She has taught me a lot and has been such a huge support system for me, along with the rest of my family and friends!
